Promtay 2009

A month ago, me and my friends attended a prom organized by Satya, Keng Sein and their fellow committee. This was their 2nd prom in fact, and it's quite amazing how a bunch of 17 years old girls manage to pull together and put up an event like this.

So yeah, this time they had Masquerade as their theme, it was held at Heritage Mansion.



Unlike the conventional prom where most of them were held at a grand ball room in a hotel, they chose a different venue this time. It was more like a mansion, with different compartments catering for different purposes.



If you notice the photo above, a part of the second floor's ground is made out of glass, serving the purpose as another dance floor, but it's more of a a no-no place for girls. Lol, it took me a while to realize what's wrong with the floor when I ask some of my friends to dance there, they just shook their head vigorously and gave me a BIG-NO-GO-AWAY look.

Hmmm...

In case you're as dumb as me and have no idea what's wrong, I'll give u a hint, stand beneath - look up - invisible glass - *****

No need to be so obvious gua.



Anyway, I went there with a bunch of college friends, 11 of us in total. To be honest, I think the point of going such events is to take out ur camera and flash around like crazy.



Hence the results of many shameless cam whores, but I'll only choose to upload a few :D which aren't so cam-whorish :)



And of course I met my dearest MBS group of friends there.

Initially, we were supposed to have left our house at 6, and arrive there at 7. But something caught up in between, which resulted in our late arrival at around 9pm+

By the time I wanna eat, most of the foods were already gone, in fact I don't think it was even replenished. During that night, all I could remember is just eating some breads and some mini tomatoes wtf. Seriously.



But it's okay, it was my first prom anyway. It was still an ummm, remarkable experience though.



And I noticed this girl, fuah. golden tube and mini skirt. Shining on the dance floor @__@



The dance floor was kinda packed, because of the limited space, but still everyone went crazy when the night begins.



Each of us were given a complimentary alcohol beverage, which was definitely not enough la haha.

So this marks the end of promtay 2009, I had fun at least, attending prom with both high school friends and college people, props for the organizing committee for doing a great job.

At least it's way way way way way way better than my college's prom..
