The Black Eyed Peas

Judging at my almost dead blog, not like I care anymore, but but, here's something for whoever readers (if any left) to read, if you may.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to work at a concert - ARTHURS DAY, which I think most of you are quite familiar with. The point is of course, to celebrate the founder, Guinness Arthur, for establishing the liquor company that have left a legacy in the history of beers manufacturing, a remarkable 250 years down the journey of life.

In which, KL is the only continent in Asia selected to host this massive event. Proud, not? Thanks to Mei Zhen, few of us had the chance to work there as "ticket collectors", reaching there as early as 3pm before the event begins. We waited until around 5-6pm before we were assigned to our duties, and I seriously think it's a pure waste of time. Never mind that, what's after are those that only matters.

I'm very impressed with their stage in fact, it looked dam cool the moment I saw it. Too bad no big artists were rehearsing, how nice if we get to see Black Eyed Peas first before any of the crowd does. lol.

That night itself, me and my friends were assigned to be a one day bouncer. I say, it totally sucked. Due to the fact that this concert serves alcohol (you gotta buy it if you're not a vip) at RM10 per pint, so many people, I mean A HELL LOT of people are literally squeezing their way into the drinking zone just to get themselves a drink. It's almost as if there's treasure inside or something wei. And when you have to handle such crowds, they tend to be impatient, and when they becomes impatient, they get furious eventually, and when they get furious, we - the poor staffs, will subsequently get all their screwing. The pay we were offered definitely do not justify the amount of workload we had, it's just quite unfair to be working our ass off for such a meager amount of pay, whats more when we couldn't really enjoy the concert at all.

Just when I thought the night couldn't go any more worse, I told myself, fuck this man, I'm gonna go party when black eyed peas are out. And so me and hunt ditched our job, and joined the crowd when BEP is coming out. Due to the immense crowd and barely visible sight from our place, Hunt suggested that we head to another spot for a clearer and better sight.

From a dull night, it became one of the most spectacular night that I ever had. BEP definitely did an awesome job getting the crowd all hype up, words definitely cannot describe how good they are. Guess what, they even had fireworks after that, super thumbs up man. What else could be better other than holding a pint of beer, listening to the live version of I Gotta Feeling, and greeted by a spectacular fireworks display right after that? Everything just became seemingly unimportant after that XD

But still, the highlights of the night? It's not the 2 pint of beers I stole took, with gratitude, from the gold zone (it's free anyway), it's the chance that I had where I was so close with Fergie, like only few CMs away from her, because me and hunt abused our worker pass and trespassed into some restricted area right beside the stage, and then she walked towards us!

No, I didn't zoom my camera at all. I swear I could touch her already. FERGIEEEE <3
